The central issue in the ongoing contract battle is that the Ballengee Group claims Diaz failed to pay for their services regarding several of his major fights. To be precise, the agency says the 32-year-old martial arts star did not pay for services rendered in four separate events. Two of those events were fights against Diaz’s well known adversary, Conor McGregor.
An attorney representing the sports agency says Diaz made approximately $2 million on the second McGregor fight alone. He also mentioned that Diaz broke away from his relationship with the Ballengee Group about a month before that fight. Seeing as this was one of the most lucrative fights of all time, the sports agency felt they’d been dealt a dirty hand.
The contract dispute claim also lists two others as defendants along with Diaz. Plaintiffs say the three defendants conspired to breach Diaz’s contract with the Ballengee Group. Although this is likely not the first contract dispute the company has experienced, any times problems of this nature arise, it can affect the bottom line. Most Louisiana business owners facing similar problems try to access the best resources to help them obtain swift solutions. An experienced business and commercial law attorney is often at the top of the list.
