Ben’s professionalism and abilities in the courtroom have earned him two distinctions as “Top Lawyer” by New Orleans Magazine and an “AV Preeminent” rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest available rating for ethics and professional competence.

His cases have been featured in newspapers and magazines worldwide including Sports Illustrated, Le Monde, and Der Spiegel.

The year before Ben entered law school, he scored in the top 1% worldwide on the Law School Admission Test (LSAT). This score earned him the Faculty Merit Scholarship to the Paul M. Hebert School of Law at Louisiana State University. In 2004 Ben was fortunate to be able to study International Comparative Law at Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 in Lyon, France.

Since law school, his career has reflected his approach to life. Ben firmly believe that a person must be well rounded in order to be successful. Having a diversity of interests and experiences allows Ben to adapt more easily to new legal issues and navigate around unexpected obstacles.

Beginning his career in criminal law provided him with a strong foundation in litigation. Building on that foundation is substantial experience in many aspects of the legal practice including:
